Interview

  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
How much wine have I had haha, that may seriously influence what Im about to share. Also how warm is it. Cause if its a hot day on the beach I'm more likely showing you more of myself than telling you about it. I dunno, I am probably oversharing and rambling on about a lot of silly anecdotes that hopefully you find cute and endearing and not overkill and annoying lol. I will probably tell a lot of stories about my past and fun times I've had with friends. I've had a pretty awesome life so far, and hope the next 30 something years have as much fun times, cool people and love packed into them as the first 30 something have.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
    Lucky Charms
    Haribo Gummy Bears
My Dogs (ok that's 3 in one but I'm grouping them).
    Orange Fanta
    Shake Shack
  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
I don't know, hit me up, let's get to know each other and you tell me what your favorite thing is!
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm a plant daddy for sure - I have too many plants to count and it wouldn't make sense to count them cause there will just be more tomorrow! They bring me joy and its relaxing to garden and walk around admiring their progress (or cry at their losses sometimes). Since moving to southern CA I have grown a serious love for Cacti! The different varieties and bizarre shapes bring a smile to my face. If a cactus makes me chuckle I have to buy it. There's too much ugly in this world to not surround ourselves with things that bring us joy. I also love spending time with my dogs, I have 3 rescues and they are a handful but I couldn't imagine life without them. Each has a unique personality and as a crew they know just how to turn a rough patch around and get me back on my feet and loving life.
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
I like to make an effort to try and do something nice for at least one person each day. Whether its a friend/family member/lover or complete stranger. Even something so simple as holding the door open, or giving a friendly smile as you pass them on the street. You never know who could really use a simple gesture of kindness to get them through the day. This world is a beast at times, and I think if we each do a little bit each day to increase the joy we can help to wash out the darkness and hate that unfortunately exists everywhere.
  • What do you do for fun?
I love spending time with my friends. Whether its hanging at home with a few close buds watching crappy TV and goofing off or going out on the town for a wild night. I have managed to accumulate a nice close group of guys that all have pretty distinctly unique backgrounds, but have come together to form a little dysfunctional family that provides support and comfort in a city that can be very lonely at times.
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
Getting let go from my most recent job. While I thought it was a dream job, it turned out to be a nightmare. I was working too many hours and not getting to live my life. It burned me out and made me tired and miserable. It was no way to live cause I wasn't living at all. I was crushed at first, but realizing that the "dream" was never a reality to begin with I hadn't lost out on more than a false promise and shiny packaging on a shitty situation. It allowed me to focus on whats important and re-evaluate what I truly want with my life.
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
Have you not seen my pictures? Just kidding, I am not actually that confident or cocky but I do put on the air that I am at times. While I tend to wear bright colors and flashy patterns - I'm honestly most comfortable when wearing the least amount of clothing. Not sure why, but I'm way more comfortable naked.
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
I'm dedicated and loyal, and often honest to the point of flaw at times.
  • What is your ‘niche’?
I don't even know where to begin on this one...
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I will travel anywhere and everywhere. I love international travel and have not done nearly enough of it. I've covered a small portion of Europe and been to South Africa. I've covered most of the United States having driven back and forth across the country on several occasions, never repeating the exact same route. Always happy to travel somewhere new to meet new friends, re-visit familiar haunts to catch up with buddies and meet new people or stumble upon hidden gems even when traveling solo. There's always something to be gained with new experiences and traveling opens up so many possibilities.
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
Haha, it's embarrassing but Lucky Charms and Gummy Bears make up a large portion of my diet - its disgusting and totally not healthy but its true. I like fresh fruit and veggies too. Im powerless before a cheeseburger and fries, and I never say no when the server asks if I want to see a dessert menu.
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
    I am a fun-loving, spontaneous, try-almost-anything-twice kinda guy!
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
I'm a fairly sensitive soul, I can bounce back pretty quickly, but I take things to heart.
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
I'm a pretty open book so you generally don't need to be left guessing what's on my mind or how I'm feeling about someone or a situation. I'm not judgmental or overly critical, I just show my feelings (good or bad) and don't think its worth the effort to put on a facade.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
I like that I'm generally able to make the most of any situation and try and figure out a way to have fun and help those I' with have a good time as well.
