Interview

  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
It’s very interesting to answer this question.
Why do we always have to go extra mile in life?
With clients, I make sure we communicate with each other enough before the session. I always offer the best service I can also try to take care everyone in this industry around me. After a year or two… i realized “Pay it forward” doesn’t seem enough.
My answer is “do less,” and take a step back to observe. Who you truly are.
I ran into some people who’s purpose of life is just to consume the society and take from other’s but never have any sense of guilt. However I also saved a 7 months pregnant immigrant. Prevent a person from killing himself. Talked to a guy through his childhood trama. Introduced two gentlemen get to know each other and they are dating now.
Met the guy who hurt me the most but prepared me for this job. A very special blue Jay.
Therefore, My answer from a year ago compare to now is totally different.
“It’s ok~ you don’t always have go the “extra mile.”
Even just a small amount of your time to appreciate and celebrate you’re still alive.
The world is cruel. Try to be nice to each other.
Leave the extra space for yourself, not extra mile. Let the light come through.❤️
  • What do you do for fun?
I like to take a long walk in the night. The city lights with the hairy thin rain drops are my favorite scene.
Thanks to the latest iPhone hand shake prove function. I was able to capture those beautiful lights. They illustrate the perfect outline of the skyline, the cold contemporary architecture straight line soften up with the reflections.
With those pictures, I was able to express my feelings at the moment. From different angles, it can be interpreted as a symbol, faces, or even just one or multiple emotions. Just like a diary in just one picture with some extra draw lining. But only I can read it. My little secret 😉
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
This one took me a long time to come up with the answer. I do know and have learnt a lot of different skills which is completely irrelevant to what I do nor even necessary… so I guess my answer is: Challenge myself.
Growing up having an identical twin brother who out shine me in everything at school. My brain was being told that I need to find the role model. “ be like him”
This is my strength and later on I realized it was my weakness as well. After graduation, no one will give you the guideline anymore. The excitement of free from being compared didn’t last too long for me.
I set the goal for myself… before I turned 30. I have to complete at least one Ironman race. I almost got myself killed at my first race. Haha. But because of that resolution I passed three spinning instructor license exams and that became my part time job before covid hit.
Last year, the man I was grateful for, reminded me how to breathe. Whenever I feel sad or having self doubt, I will jump on the spin bike, work on my breathing and remembering the connection of my body, to every single muscle. When the moment comes, you will know before it hits you. The prefect body balance… you’ll see the light tunnel😂
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
I won’t say there’s one thing, but rather than a period of timeline of your life.
When you look back… thinking you hit the bottom of your life and lost everything, but people still want to take advantage of you. And I was willingly let them do it… what I thought was the bottom of my life, hit the ground but didn’t crash. Instead, you kept on falling deep into the water until there’s no light.
A scammer knowingly abused me badly and even physically hurt me. A fake light…
You will be surprised how strong you are. Even for a false hope.
Everything happens for a reason, but you don’t need to know every reasons to make it happen.
I will never forget the scare he gave me, but I’m also grateful for him happened in my life…even it was just a fake light.
He made me who I am today. I was willingly let him. I lost the gamble on humanity.
It was the most incredible things I’ve ever witnessed. How fast you can fall… how quick can a person change.

I told the client I saw today I will pay it forward for his extra kindness to me. I take what I deserved and forward your love to the ones who is in need. 🙏🏻
We’ve the opportunity to touch people’s heart. I choose to heal not to steal.
    Xoxo
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
This is a very tricky question. I will have to say… I have moral. I don’t play with people’s feelings and emotions. I won’t abuse the term “I love you.” To cause any kind of chaos in their lifes.
I still have feelings when I am with my client. I listen and empathize with them. I even introduced a client to another friend of mine and they ended up together.
Being color blind taught me one thing which is focus on the intensity of the action. Don’t try to judge that’s positive or negative. The higher the intensity is, the more they care about you. We just never been taught how to express our feelings in a correct way.
Even I am still working on this part. But I will be 100% honest with the client. Despite sometimes I can tell they will loose interests. But I am not playing with their emotions or use their weakness to get more which shouldn’t have be mine. :)
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I used to travel a lot. For my previous job which is fashion related.
Thanks to COVID, so no more travelling for anyone. I managed to running around in BC during COVID time.
It’s a pity the person I was trailing with wasn’t mentally aligned with me.
But I do enjoy more outdoor. Even if just for a walk.
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
I was going full on liquid diet. It makes me movable and fast to clean and clean.
As for my work out. I
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
I am what I said. Once I made the promise to you, I will follow through it.
  • What is your ‘niche’?
When I give people massages, I see their energy flow.. at least most of the time. So I always know how to make them feel relaxed.
Also I always prepare the personalized drinks for the client with a home made dessert when I’m hosting.

Maybe I should say customer service. I do care about my client and always over prepared.
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
It’s hard for me to define what really is my lifestyle. I was very rigid until I met a special person on RentMen. He guided me through a lot of my “first” experience and it was very different than who I used to be.
    So I am very accepting...

A very sweet guy said this to me today on June 6th. You are defined by who you are surrounded.
I used to hate myself for all the “defects” I was born with.
Now I think being color blind is a blessing. It helps me to look at people’s emotions not as positive or negative. I see the intensity of it. So not hate nor love nor desire... The intensity of the emotion shows how much they care... and focus on that helps me to lead myself through the most difficult time. And I am still evolving.
So I would say there is no just one lifestyle. I am willingly and accepting changes in my life. Made my decision and not have to defend myself to anyone... be happy about it.
Let it be... Love and never regret:)
  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
I am not very confident about myself. I was a very nerdy kid. So I get very uncomfortable when people apprised my body... But I guess we don’t see what other people see. I am trying to find the best way to respond to this kind of conversation but so far... I am grateful that I am half deaf so I can pretend that I didn’t hear it and just smile.
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
I can’t tell blue and green. But I can see red and orange.
It gets worse in the night...
  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
I love swimming but scared of open water.
    Or
    How heavy can you lift?
When I drink, there’s no happy zone for me. It’s either I’m ok or I will past out completely. True story happened to my best friend’s wedding. 🙈
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
I only have left side hearing. So please don’t stand on my right side... and also that’s the reason why i absolutely hate driving.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
Knowing everything happens for a reason but doesn’t have to know every reason for things to happen.
I can resonate with people’s vibe easily and see their unique colours. Finding the beauty of every single soul.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
Invisible socks / redline bracelet / headset / fruit smoothie / silk pillow case
